Our team members who are very adventurous and keen on experimenting with the food ,bring their rich experience of the culinary style of various countries to prepare this special pasta and present it to the Indian food lovers.It is presented in a sophisticated style to our elite customers.

We first appointed an Italian chef to start the R&D in our set up kitchen. The operation got started and delivered its first menu on December 2011 from Indiranagar and finally the restaurant got started at Cunningham Road in July 2012.
We are backed by Glasshouse investment Limited an investment company from Jersey, United Kingdom and planning to expand to more cities like Delhi/NCR , Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad in the next few years.
Our mission is to keep satisfying our customers with the special Italian food and make them come back more to enjoy and relish the food again at our restaurant.For this , feedback of our each and every customer is taken on their overall experience so that it can be used to improve our service and food quality as per their requirements.
The chefs at âPasta streetâ who are experts in the Italian style of cooking are also trained to understand the Indian customerâs requirements so that they can present the Italian food in a manner that impresses the Indian customers and bring a âwowâ factor about the dish.
About Our Story
Pasta Street journey started in the year of 2011 in Bangalore city ,when a group of food entrepreneurs sprung up with an idea to bring authentic Italian food on to the Indian plates.The name âPasta streetâ was thought of as the majority of the Italians enjoy their meal at outdoor seating on the streets of Italy.So the name âPasta streetâ perfectly aligns with our dream of serving delicious authentic Italian food in truly Italian style.

Italian food is very popular as it is not only delicious but also healthy.Less spices and oil is used in this so that the taste of vegetables and herbs remains intact. Italian cooks rely chiefly on the quality of the ingredients rather than on elaborate preparation.The food is not overcooked and while serving it is sprinkled with Italian seasoning which enhances the taste of the dish.
Italy has been blessed with climate which is favourable for cultivation of olives,citrus fruits like lemons, orange trees which are widely used in Italian dishes.These fruits are rich source of vitamin E,C and antioxidants helpful to maintain good health.The olive oil produced in the country is used for sauteing, cooking pasta and topping fresh bread.
Popular wine grapes Montepulciano and Sangiovese are grown in this region which are widely used in the preparation of mocktail and cocktail to be served with meal.
Figs are used to make desserts , these jewel like fruits can enhance cuisine both sweet and savory.Tomatoes are mainly used to make red sauce or tomato paste for red pasta.

Types of Italian food
Italian cuisine is noted for its regional diversity, especially between the north,central and the south of the Italian peninsula.Most of the dishes will have only four to eight ingredients so that one can enjoy all the ingredients in a dish.
In the North of Italy, fish ,potatoes, rice, corn , sausages, pork, and different types of cheeses are the most common ingredients. Traditional central Italian cuisine uses ingredients such as tomatoes, all kinds of meat, fish, and pecorino cheese.In southern Italy, tomatoes, peppers, olives , garlic, artichokes, oranges, ricotta cheese, eggplants, zucchini, fishes like sardines and tuna are important essential components of a cuisine.

Pizza Napoletana (Naples) Naples is a place located located in southern Italy.The favourite dish and speciality of this area is Napoletana pizza .There are three official versions of Pizza Napoletana but Margherita is the most famous.
Lasagna(Bologna) It is the one of the famous oldest pasta recipes, lasagna is a traditional Italian food which is made by alternate layers of pasta sheets, meat, sauce, and cheese.

Caponata (Sicily) Sicily is located at southern part of Italy.The famous dish of this area is Caponata which is a rich combination of vegetables specially eggplant.
Spaghetti(Rome) Spaghetti is an Italian version of noodles. The authentic recipe is made of fresh eggs, Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper.
